In 97.113(a)(4), the rules state (edited for brevity):
No amateur station shall transmit: … messages encoded for the purpose
of obscuring their meaning, except as otherwise provided herein …
Therefore, I need to be clear that my intention is never to obscure the meaning of any message.
If I decide to use encryption on ham radio frequencies, the intention would be to experiment. It will be ADP encryption as used on Motorola and other radios. As an act of good faith, I’m sharing the key I would use below.
