If you’re into DMR as I am, chances are you’ve purchased some kind of hotspot. I purchased a JumboSpot from Amazon, and had lots of trouble with it. The fine people in the JumboSpot group on Facebook advised me that I have an older revision of the board (version 1.2), and that version is known to have a number of issues, even on the latest firmware. I was advised to purchase the latest revision (version 1.7 as of this writing) on eBay directly from China, which I have done. I’ll update this article when that arrives.
